I-Genius launched by Max Life

Max New York Life launched a comprehensive parent-child program called I-Genius, which will support the development of a child’s talent. This programs objective is to reward children who show all-round skill. This program will thus support and help the parents of such children to better their wards multi-faceted growth.

Max New York targets to reach 5 million children and 4 million parents through this program.

These initiatives, especially the I-Genius program will help parents to identify their child’s talents, nurture, promote and assess. The vigorous multiple level evaluation process that has been conceptualized in association with Derek O’Brien.

Rajesh Sud, CEO and the managing director, Max New York Life even said, “Research indicates that there are 119 million parents in India between the age group of 25-44 years with children less than 12 years of age. It is also a known fact that financial security of children is the most important reason that all parents save for”. And their program will help the children and in the process parents to achieve more for their children.

Eligibility: Children from 3^rd to 8^th standard are eligible to compete for over 3000 prizes worth Rs.2 crore!

Registration: This scholarship program is open from 8^th February to 31^st March, 2010.

Winners: Mega scholarship of Rs.20 lac will be announced on Children’s Day – 14^th November, 2010.

Data say 85% of Indian Households having children below 15 years of age group save for their child’s education. The current age of parents buying insurance is in 20s now, who lookout for financial planning and better financial instruments which offer maximum potential for life insurance. And as it is true today, all round development of children is the key to their success in life.

I Genius Scholarship – The I-genius scholarship program provides a platform to the kids to be all rounder and discover and groom their talents. The scholarship program has multiple levels of evaluation such as objective and subjective questions, panel discussions and extra-curricular activities.

In future this platform will unfold many other initiatives where Max New York life will invest substantially in developing talent in the areas of sports, knowledge, education etc.

I Genius Parenting – This initiative will entail creating social media group through new age medium and sponsoring sections pertaining to raising children in relevant websites and feature articles from renowned personalities on subjects such as Parental Dilemmas, Speech, Language and Hearing, Sibling Relationship etc.

I Genius Advantage – Through this initiative Max New York life will create a toll free number with an aim to provide a one-stop solution for all children related queries.

‘Smart Stars’ is another program driving consumer engagement with multiple activities for MNYL child plan customers.

I Genius Secure – Max New York life provides protection and cover beyond financial protection the company plans to form a strategic advisory board comprising of country’s leading educationists, child counselors and policymakers to discuss issues crucial to development of all round personality of children and raise these at public platforms. Max New York Life understands concerns and anxieties of parents and thus will find the solutions they seek from various stakeholders to overcome those concerns. The findings will then be mobilized through various mediums to help the society at large.
