ICICI Lombard General Insurance has added an option to their home insurance policy according to which the insurance could cover all the contents of the policyholder’s house. They can avail the option to cover loss of contents of the house due to natural perils like fire, flood, storm, etc. And also, against man-made perils like burglary, attempted burglary or theft. The contents include jewelry, silver articles and precious stones kept under lock. They even have a terrorism cover which provides for any damage and loss to the structure and the contents of the house due to acts of terrorism.
