If you have recently got married and you and your spouse have health plan from different companies you can not merge the two policies and retain the benefits. Your personal health plans are not portable. One of you should get added in another policy as spouse. You should choose the policy which has a higher sum insured. Since both of you are young, restarting the policy for one wouldn’t make much difference.
