Care first is a three year risk cover plan that can be renewed in every three years.
Features and benefits of Care first are:
• This one is a flexible insurance plan in which the insured can choose its own premium payment frequency. The payment of premiums is yearly, monthly, half-yearly and quarterly. Monthly mode is also available which can be done either by ECS or Salary deductions.
• The minimum and the maximum sum that is to be assured by the policy holder is Rs. 100,000/- and Rs. 700,000/- respectively.
• Day care treatment facility is also there in this policy for the treatment procedures such as eye surgery, cataract, cardiac catheterization, hernia repair surgery, etc. This insurance policy can be renewed after the expiration of the present policy within thirty days and that is based on certain terms and conditions.
• In case of serious medical cases like organ transplant, the insurance company would be paying some additional amount, which is 25 per cent of the sum assured. Some of the organ transplant cases that are mentioned in this policy are transplantation of heart, liver, kidney and pancreas.
• Tax benefit is also available in this policy in which the premium that has been paid for making the policy intact would get tax benefit as per section 80C and 80D of the Indian income tax act, 1961.
• Bajaj Care First Health Insurance providing Cashless facility is available on some selected network hospitals from where the insured can have avail treatment without making any immediate payment of cash.
