a) In regular pay option, the insurance premium needs to be paid throughout the selected term
b) In single premium pay option; the premium needs to be paid only at once. .
• The mode for making the payment of premiums is yearly, half-yearly, annually and quarterly.
• The policy has built in riders and that offers further protection to the insured from all kinds of perils. The riders that are offered in this policy are accidental death benefit rider, critical illness rider, waiver or premium rider and permanent or partial disability rider.
• In this policy the minimum sum assured is Rs.1,00,000 and the maximum is Rs.10,00,000.
• The minimum age if entry is 18years and the maximum age is 55 years
• The minimum and the maximum term of this policy are five and forty years.
• The insured is also eligible to get tax benefits as per the provisions of section 80(C), 80(D), and 10(10D) of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961. The sum assured that is payable at the time of maturity or death is eligible for tax exemption as per section 10(10D). The premiums for the riders are eligible for tax deduction as per section 80(D).
